Level 3 Award in Education and Training (AET/PTLLS) Answers - Instant Download Access

The Level 3 Award in Education and Training (AET) is the entry teacher training course. This qualification replaced the level 3 and 4 Ptlls. You will need to achieve at least 12 Regulated Qualification Framework (RQF) credits to achieve this qualification. We provide support, help, guidance, answers and examples for this AET qualification.

Our aim is not to encourage you to plagiarise but to assist the busy practitioner with expert guidance, help to assist you to remain focus. This can also supplement the support you are getting elsewhere as we can also provide tutorials to assist you to fully put our resources into context with your work environment and specialist area. This is important as teaching is different and will be applied differently to each environment. You can not fully use the same techniques used to teach children when addressing adults.

What is covered?

This is an educational package to help you when completing the Level 3 Award in Education and Training. These resources have been written from an assessing, coaching and mentoring perspective covering the following units:

Unit 1: Understanding roles, responsibilities and relationships in education and training.

Unit 2: Understanding and using inclusive teaching and learning approaches in education and training.

Unit 3: Understanding assessment in education and training.

If you are completing unit 2 you will be expected to take part in a micro-teach activity for at least an hour. This can be accomplished by delivering your own session for 15 minutes and observing others for the remaining 45 minutes. You can also deliver an extended micro-teach up to an hour if you do not want to observe others. If you are currently teaching you can use your real teaching session in order to meet the micro-teach requirement. If you are currently working in any learning and development setting and can provide evidence of supporting an individual learner or a group of learners you are welcome to complete either Unit 4 or Unit 5 highlighted below instead of the micro-teach (Unit 2).

  1. 3 exemplars for all three units explaining how to address each learning outcome and assessment criteria.
